When we first walked in there was a couple in line in front of us to be seated. That was not an issue, what was an issue was waiting almost five minutes while the greeter played around with seating arrangements and didn't seat us at an immediately open table. There were six waiters/ waitresses and all of the tables were being serviced, I'm not sure what was going on there. The waitress we ended up with spoke barely audible English and we saw her three times throughout the meal. Once to take our order after leaving us for almost fifteen minutes, the second time to drop off food, and the third time to drop off the check. I got the biscuits and gravy and could tell that the biscuits were canned. The gravy tasted like flour and the chunks of sausage in the gravy didn't do anything to help the taste of flour. My girlfriend got the pancakes which were good until she got to the doughy center. When we went to pay, the lady at the register asked how our meal was. When I told her, she laughed at me. This is not a place that I will ever come to again.

Went there for breakfast this morning 7/3/15. Place was about 3/4 full and most people had been helped. Waited forever to be acknowledged by the server. Once was, told her we would like coffee and water. Waited...waited...waited, she never came with our drinks. Never took our order either. Got up and walked out.

One of my favorite places in the area to eat! Sometimes there is a wait to be seated, but with how busy they get it is perfectly reasonable. The service is always friendly and talkative, my order is always accurate and served quickly. The portions are huge for the price and so good, i am partial to the meatloaf. Its a excellent place to go for a quiet lunch with family!

Best breakfast anywhere around. We drive down from Imperial every weekend for breakfast and sometimes dinner. Its nothing fancy, but the food is great and the portions are large. It's cheap and the service is awesome. Be prepared for a wait on the weekends especially Sundays when church lets out. They moc=ve the tables pretty fast, so its not usually too terrible, Its a big place.

Probably my new go-to place when I'm in the mood for eating a giant, late breakfast and then laying around for a couple hours complaining about how I didn't need to eat that much. A really good place for the price, with great breakfast fare. Haven't tried anything else. Great home fries, bacon, sausage, eggs cooked perfectly and thick fluffy pancakes. I was expecting the gravy to be awesome but unfortunately it wasn't. I could be wrong but just didn't taste homemade. Service was good. All in all a solid choice.

Good breakfast, okay dinner. Well priced for what you get. Speedy and friendly service. The location is less than impressive with it's "homey" feel, old tables and chairs and plastic cups. It's just one large room with as many tables as they could fit causing a bit of chaos and a lot of noise. Most times there's a small wait upon arrival.

If you just want a really great meal at a really great price, this is the place to go. It's not fancy. So don't go looking for the fine china and Chandeliers. The food is always consistent, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is always attentive. They have specials every night. Family owned and family run, by a local family. I have been a customer of theirs since they were on Main Street. I hope they are there forever.

Nice diner/cafe style place with a small town family feel exept they allow smoking in the first half of the restaurant. For $5.19 I recieved a nice size 3 egg omlette with the diced ingredients mixed in versus being folded into the middle. The amount of fried potatos was massive and they included 2 pieces of toast. The $1.69 coffee was constantly filled by the friendly waitress. With one visit and my friends big stamp of approval I can am already saying I am a fan of this small town family value cafe.

If you love a home cooked meal and enjoy comfort food this place has it all. The prices are very reasonable and include a senior citizen menu with discounted prices. I enjoy going for breakfast or lunch at least once a week. The food is always outstanding. The environment is casual and is excellent for family or friends to gather and visit. The restaurant has changed to a non-smoking environment. It is closing for a week in August to remodel. I'm looking forward to it reopening as the first non-smoking restaurant in Crystal City.

While this is my first check in here, it isn't my first visit. Been eating here regularly for about 2 months. I have no complaints about Main Street at all, the food is great, the atmosphere is relaxed and gives you that home feel, the wait staff is super nice, and the price can't be beat.. I have had both breakfast and dinner selections, and have not been disappointed yet. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions served are large and very filling. they are open Tuesday through Sunday, and yes sometimes you will have to wait due to the amount of people that eat here, but even the wait is worth it, and it's never too long.. I would honestly say do yourself a favor and get down to Main Street Cafe, it would be worth the drive if you are not in the area. your satisfaction levels will be achieved!
